  • Wine well past its prime. I was given the bottle by a dealer knowing it was likely bad. That being said, it had a wonderful nutty and butterscotch flavor and it showed layers of flavor that only teased me realizing how nice this bottle might have been in its time. Still had a recognizable Chardonnay bite and was an interesting and educational experience for my palate. The wine started out about a 77 and over a bunch of days went down hill slowly and ended up with the last 1/3 being poured out.

  • Brigth colour, not pale but clear with golden sparks. The nose is loaded with minerals, hay, grapefruit, a whiff of honey, more minerals. On the palate more minerals, more hay and more grapefruit. A fine sweetness that is perfectly mingled with a bone-dry finish. A wonderfull balance between fruit and acidity. This wine is clearly at its peak so drink up and enjoy!
