Can really taste the oak and smell the butter on the nose not bad but just not as great as the 2011 was. A little off balance not enough fruit but still tasty if you like the rich oak taste.

Clean nose of lemon, apple and white blossom. Medium bodied, slightly buttery with a well balanced acidity. Layers of apple, green plum and a delicate nuttiness fades into a slightly smoky finish. This wine is fermented with wild yeast. One of the few Californian Chardonnay that I could drink without getting bored.
