Wow. I would have never guessed California if I had tasted this blind. Blind I would have gone to the south of France or Italy. Created from the rather obscure Arinto grape (an italian varietal), this has lovely cut and minerality with a good dose of pear, apple skin, and lemon. I could drink this all day long. I can't stress the mineral aspects coming off this wine enough! Just fabulous. Amazing with local crab, broiled asparagus, and wild rice. Will purchase more. Natural cork (seemed somewhat compromised - slight leakage - but the wine was sound); 13.5% abv

Pale straw, notes of flint and minerals. Sour apple and more mineral. Would pair great with light fish or crab.
