Drank with some friends from work in the wine cellar. It was almost 7 years since I bought it, and 6 years since I tried it last time. No wet leaves or dirt; it was smooth from the start, nice fruits, soft tannins. I like how it has evolved; but missing some of the red berries and rose petals, Annunziata is famous for.

Drinking nicely. Still could wait on it though. Less impressive than in 2016.

Great classic, balanced Barolo with plenty of acid and a licking of tannin. Still very fresh. Needs time.
