    Chapeau

  • Tasted at Vinum Merum around the corner from me.

Had you given me this wine blind then based on the very rich, plumed and slightly animalistic nose alone I would have thought this might be a red. So that must have been the Muskateller and Traminer which I am not too familiar with. On the palate extremely different from the nose and not my style (so despite the rating I still wouldn't buy), although I readily recognize quality here as well: the minerality (the Sauvignon Blanc ?) is here not embedded in a citrusy zest and acidity, but more in a calm bitterness that exudes nobility.

Very good, but you gotta like that style. If you want something a little unique this could be your white.
