Not exactly my style, or for those tasting with me, we still have to give them some respect. This wine is full of fruit flavors, enhancing secondary stuff, and tons of oak. The oak is almost overpowering. The secondary, evergreen meets charcoaled wet earth, flavors and aromas are not for everyone. Have to admit, as we tasted down the glass, things got a little more civilized. There are some raw, over the top, Pinot type flavors that some may crave. Maybe this is cutting edge stuff? It is clean and balanced, and more Burgundian than from lots of other places.
