(Woodward Canyon Estate Reserve Walla Walla Valley) A moderately aromatic wine with high toned spicy oak notes, cherry, chocolate, and moist dark soil. The palate is restrained with seamless fruit flavors, mixing grace and power, backed by a firm grip of tannins. Give time in the cellar to see it at its best. 41% Merlot, 31% Petit Verdot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.6% alcohol. 173 cases produced.
