  Reductive notes on the nose, barnyard, black cherry and cedar, and toasty oak. Palate follows, long finish, tannins still a bit tight. Has improved with time.

  Nose is nice, oak is balanced. Flat palette that doesn't really develop much over the tongue. Not the best year from this winery, but it was definitely tough for everyone else as well.

  Solid 90. This is a big rich Pinot, slight ruby color, currents and Barry's to nose. There is something else happen - perhaps moss or fresh earth. Taste hits the middle to back of mouth and lingers for some time. This is a complex, well balanced wine that is drinking well now but could benefit from another year in the cellar.
