Pop 'n pour and a touch warm did not do this favors. This tasting note reflects about 30 mins with the bottle open and stored in the fridge. This kitchen sink blend (Cab. Sauv., Malbec, Cab. Franc, Syrah, Petite Verdot, and Pinot Noir... Just kidding about the the Pinot component) has many good elements of its parts but if you put too much thought into it, there's an element of disjointedness. So... don't put too much thought into it. It is a beautiful deep red/purple color and it gives up perfume and leather aromas. I taste red and blueberries, leather, earth, and a meaty savory hint. According to the label, "... this wine is thick, bordenate and genoulline." I believe those last words mean delicious and fulfilling.

Pretty similar to their entry level, but this is a blend 67% Cab, 14% Malbec, 8% Franc 6% Syrah 5% Petit Verdot. Nice fruit, almost a blue quality if you will. Balance though is there with tannins, currant, etc.. what you expect. Well made wine.

Needs more time in the cellar to smooth out the sharp tannins. Lots of potential, but we will have to wait and see how it is in a couple of years.
