  This is a beautiful wine. First tried at Comptoir au relais and this bottle purchased at Caves Augé.
  
  Very fragrant, fruit-forward, floral, hrebal nose. A sense of ripe stems. Intense freshness. A little cocoa butter, dried banana and citrus peel beneath the surface. Highly complex and very open just now. A joy to breathe in.
  
  The taste is a little tighter and less open and expansive. Mouthcoating blackcurrant dominates, also strawberries and blueberries. But good structure and a light smokiness attaches itself to the tannin. Sweet beginning gives way to drying and drying into the long and slightly hot finish. A little spice - cloves, black pepper.
  
  Overall a nice drink. Maybe worth ageing a few more years for the palate to open up.

  erinnert an den Geschmack von schwarzen Johannisbeere.
  Duft von Lorbeer, Wacholder und schwarzen Oliven. Kraftvoller Geschmack mit samtigen Tanninen.
