Just plain delicious. Tasted in Santa Barbara with H. and then uncorked -- er, unscrewed -- at home with H. and L. for dinner with Panino sandwiches. Honeysuckle and lemon zest waft from the glass and beautiful straw-hued legs cling to it. The palate is mandarin oranges, grapefruit and more lemon zest. The acidity is spot on, making it a great match with food. (Seared scallops in a lemon butter sauce would be perfect.) And its purity is striking.

(Margerum Grenache Blanc) Pale peach yellow color; appealing, tart pear, ripe peach nose; tasty, delicate, tart peach, mineral palate with good acidity; medium finish (12% alcohol)

Still a nice, very pleasant creamy Grenache Blanc. Tasting nicely, recommended to drink in the near future (within a year or two).
