This wine is still going strong. I disagree with other reviewers. Tannins have softened some but still good acid balance. Had it with a steak tonight and it was perfect. Will hold others another year at least.

Fruit forward effort with rich mouthfeel, loads of plum and cassis with hints of blueberry. Subtle but noticeable backbone, tending toward vanilla and pepper, rounds out this effort nicely, with a surprisingly long after. Opened up quickly and did not require decanting. Probably not built to age, this one should be consumed within the next 3 to 5 years at the most.
