One word describes this wine - yummy! A well balanced chardonnay that has plenty fruit, luscious body, grippy structure, minerals and a long lovely finish. It is a chardonnay made in the more traditional style but with a modern twang. A very impressive wine that took me by surprise.
Drink now or 2+ years but perfectly drinking now.

Straw-coloured, starting to turn golden. Nose of mangoes, dried apricots, citrus peel. Full-bodied and viscous on the palate, luscious. High acidity and a long finish. Evidence of malo-lactic conversion. Complex. On the palate, stone fruit and minerality. Great balance. I am not a connoisseur of Australian wines but I am really impressed with this!

This is in a lovely place just now, rich and creamy in perfect balance with fresh lemon.

some obvious oak treatment but not overdone, overripe honeydew on the nose, a bit of funk; nice acid, ripe fruit, very long finish. enjoyable
