12/4/03 at home at night. Extreme dark purple color. Highly extracted. Very distinctive nose. High toned. Reminds me of the '98 Wolf Blass and its description by one critic as 'salty side'. Bright red fruits, mulberry. Sleek entry into the mouth, rich and full but not too rough. Flavoury fruit bomb, not complicated but lots to like. For drinking in the next few months and years, for its exhuberance. Good grilled burger wine. Steal at $15. 5-11-15-8-89/100. Very distinctive, and probably too flambouyant for some tastes.
