  “Mixed Bag of Rhône Wines”-Tasting, Flight 1, Wine 3 (non-blind), in January 2014. The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered an intense nose of candy-like fruit, cherry, raspberry, blackberry and banana. On the palate the wine showed blurry candy-like fruit flavours (cherry, raspberry, blackberry and banana), joined by a bitter almond note, paired with prominent medium-level acidity, medium-level coarse and astringent tannin, and average length of the slightly bitter finish. Most probably macération semi-carbonique. A simplistic wine that lacked balance. Drink now.
