Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 85 points

  • The wine is clear and medium yellow in colour
The nose is clean with medium (+) aromas of green fruit such as grape, citrus fruit such as grapefruit and tangerine, stone fruit such as apricot, spice such as musk, floral such as honeysuckle, bottle age such as honey and smoke. The wine is developing.
The wine is medium sweet with medium (+) acidity, low alcohol (10%), medium body, and medium flavours of grape, tangerine, apricot, honey. The finish is medium.
The wine is good in quality. The acidity balances the sweetness and there are reasonably pronounced and complex flavours/aromas with some tertiary development, although the wine remains quite simple and fruit driven. The finish is not particularly long.
The wine should be drunk now and is not suitable for further ageing. It lacks the fruit and structure to be able to develop greater tertiary complexity with time.
