  • Opened this at Yummy Palace to celebrate two birthdays with my close friends. We had the signature pig stomach soup, crab congee, deep fried fish skin, roast pork cube, silver bait fish, roasted duck, iced sweet and sour pork, palace beancurd, scallops with green dragon vegetables, and deep fried bee hoon.

Gold in colour with beautiful aromas of honey, nectar, honeysuckle, apricot and peaches. This wine is shining right now and "liquid gold" would be a very suitable description for the beverage right now. Good viscosity with concentration, this wine was simply a delight to hold (and behold) in the glass.

  • Brought this to Chin Lee Restaurant to celebrate my father's birthday.

Deep golden in colour. Notes of petroleum on the nose but fast fading. Other notes such as peaches, honeycomb, nectar, syrup are evident. Body is more concentrated and viscous that the other wines, which is expected to to its higher than usual sugar level.

  • Brought this to a lunch at Tung Lok Signatures (Orchard Parade Hotel) to celebrate a birthday.

Dark yellow in colour with notes of honey, beewax, citrus, and some petroleum on the nose.

A delicately balanced profile with sufficient sweetness to keep the interest level up and freshness to keep the sweetness in place.

    A wonderfully well-crafted wine.

  • Drank this at Jasmine Palace Hotel with a close colleague.

Golden in colour with a luscious nose of peaches, nectar, ripe peaches, nectarines and tangerine. Sweetness balanced with freshness with a medium body and long, lingering finish.

Over the years, this wine has aged beautifully and gracefully. Complex, seductive, delicious.
