  Good food wine. Decanted and drunk over the course of an evening. Definitely give this wine time to breathe, at least a half hour, two hours if possible. May buy again as an everyday dinner wine or for use in my famous stew or sauce reduction. Overall value: 4 stars of 5.

  A typical right bank Bordeaux with merlot dominating. 13.5% ABV, medium finish. It's clearly not a Cheval Blanc (I'm guessing since I haven't been within a kilometre of one), but enjoyable. I expected a little more fruit, but on Day 2 it opened up. The mineral complexity was evident on Day 1 but diminished on Day 2. Somewhat like golf: the day you straighten out your drive your putting falls apart. So I'm not sure what time will do to this bottle. However for $15 its a reasonable purchase.
