  This is the way I like my Zinfandel. Plenty of fruit, but also some other supporting characteristics. The color is inky purple. The nose has red raspberry, plum, blackberry and some heavy toast American oak. Medium plus bodied, but still fairly intense fruitiness. The oak brings a taste of mocha and chocolate. Balanced acidity that aptly helps integrate the alcohol. Lingering finish of chocolate meets graphite.
