  Initially dark and brooding, this took about 36 hours of air to really unfurl into an ethereal wine with a lingering and intriguing nose. Lovely minerality. Wonderful

  Although there was a hint of coarse structure in the palate, it was quite an excellent burgundy considering its price.

  Begynnende moden nese. Ganske old-school i stilen med en del mørke, rustikke og sekundære aromaer. Bra kons og lengde. God vin, men blir ikke så minneverdig i dette selskapet.

  Vosne 1er dinner at Maison Dakota. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Tasted semi-blind.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of stony minerality, red florals, pretty red cherries, violet perfume, candy cane and nail varnish flitting around. Developing.
  On the palate, dry, juicy high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), soft medium- tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of sour red cherries, soft red strawberries, stony minerality, hint of earth. Sneaky long finish.
  Very good quality. Very pretty and elegant style though seemingly lacks some stuffing currently. Probably could put on some weight with more age development. Upside potential should be there.

  Nose is great and prominent. Red fruit, minerals, some spice, depth. Body is medium plus, still tight and wound up, medium plus finish. Very nice elegant mouthfeel.
