  • Wow...so much potential! Glad i opened a bottle but this has high acidity and great support from the fruit flavours and tannins but needs more time to soften and balance out. Will add a note for the second day later.
Second day this has a fruity nose, acidity gives this wine a freshness on the palate and there is an abundance of cherry/ dark fruit flavours. Less tart than the first day.

  • Medium red in colour, good acidity, tannic spine prevalent with a few dark fruit notes. Not overly inspiring as an expensive GC equivalent from a renowned 1er cru region. Left the bottle for a day.
The next day this started to show its capabilities. There is a slight floral nose. The wine has a light bodied feel in the mouth, tannins have become subdued with a noticeable presence of fruit flavours that gives this wine good length. A very subtle well flavoured wine. My expectations where deflated the first day but the second day proved to me there is more potential and maybe that this wine will continue to improve with time and surprise me!

  • Med red. Nose is fresh, slightly of oak. There is structure and an overlay of fruit and perfume which improved with time. Not nearly the fragrant beauty I experienced a few years ago. This wine is probably in an awkward spot and should be left alone for a few more years.
