Burgundy 2012 at Flatiron (Flatiron, SF): Pale ruby in the glass. Nose of dried roses, bright red cherry, ash/smoke/burnt match (reduction), slight brett, slight new oak. In the mouth, medium minus body, moderate alcohol - feels around 13%, medium plus acid, moderate tannins. Leaner than the '12 Pommard Les Rugiens, less fleshy, and more tannic.
