  • A great eiswein that will deliver at top form for decades. This bottle was less evolved than the one several months ago. But it is an immediate flash of incredible depth of rielsing wonder, with burnt caramel, honey, loquat, lemon zest, peat and a wonderfully viscous passage throughout. Obviously quite young but the eiswein are approachable long before the auslesen, BAs and TBAs.

  • Just ethereal. Young of course but even now, the incredible notes of apricot, burnt vanilla, petrol, yuzu, apple, and honey just coat the tongue in the most wonderful Rheinghau sweet wine fashion. Never unctuous, never unbalanced because of a nice acid balance from the outset, this golden wine delivers al that it should.
