Opened by Allred. I don't drink many LBV's. Deep purple color. Notes of raisins and prunes with a meaty texture. Not as deep or concentrated as most of the vintage ports I've had. 88 points.

No cork problems, this port becomes riper and force has to change in complexity, but I'm not completely sure this wine will succeed. However a lovely port with ripe fruit, a smooth taste, some tannins in the final and less dry than I expected from Fonseca.

See also my previous notes; this bottle was more vivid than the previous and delicious.
