Needs to be decanted 1.5 hrs+. Develops nicely and might get better with age. Good drinker for everyday fun. Not real complicated strong berry, high alcohol finish. Mellows with time.

Not bad. Neither underperformed or outperformed its price of $20. Seemed like a blend of Wa State Cab, Merlot and Syrah...being a little brother to some of those big boy wines made near Walla Walla. Seems crazy, but we thought this would probably be better letting it age for a year. On the fence as to whether we would buy more, prior vintages seemed to be a little better

This vintage bears the Columbia Valley appellation label. An excellent wine, particularly given the tough 2011 vintage. Nicely concentrated, great oak treatment, rounded mid palate, pleasant finish. A great wine that demonstrates the power and finesse of modestly oaked bargain priced WA wines.

Typical nose of red fruit and oak. Good concentration, fairly oaky, otherwise a very agreeable red blend.
