some cherry on the nose with a little bit of black licorice- Black or dark cherry carries through with a touch of a bitter finish but not enough to be offensive- still drinking well for a $8 wine

Cherry, licorice, pine cones, hint of cocoa on the nose. Black cherries with chocolate on the attack, nice vanilla, oak next. Licorice with some earthiness, tobacco, and oak on the finish. Medium bodied. Long finish. Good value.

Very dark purple in color. Nose is deep blackberry, toast, cherry and black raspberry. Flavors of cherry, blackberry and dark chocolate re-appear on the full-bodied, velvety, creamy, well structured mid-palate followed by a long, a bit dusty finish. Let it rest for another year or two if you don't like a dry somewhat-tannic finish. I loved it. Excellent value. Tons of Mendoza terroir. Great QPR. Will search for again.

I'm with biilyg on the flavor profile. Quite exceptional for a ten dollar wine. Best three to four hours after opening.
