Brownish rim, garnet colour. Nose w strawberries, toasted oak, spices (laurel?), cognac(!?), undergrowth. Medium-to-full body w soft tannins, good acidity, fruit aging but still alive. Long, smooth aftertaste. Well balanced, elegant, seductive. Very nice indeed (but time to drink it soon).

Dark opaque garnet in colour. Aged appearance. Confit nose is the entree to the well aged, enjoyment from the glass. All cherry flavours, plum of medium weight given its 19 years of age impresses. Confit spice, cognac, bramble holds sway throughout the seamless and expressive long finish. 30 minutes open drinking at its best.

Red fruit, a bit sour, some citrus and minerals, quite thin and acidic. Had some moments, but overall not enough fruit to hold up to the acidity.

Corton with Munskänkarna: Smell reminicent of port. Mature wine, lots of leather. Integrated acitidy and still potent tannins. Excellent.
