Different beast than the 2009. Simple enough but with an almost chemical aftertaste that I found harsh. On day two, I thought there were floral notes and the opening had a faint, light Burgund-- then I thought Nope, and it helped make an excellent sauce for my mushrooms.

This is an absolutely gorgeous cabernet; a show-stopper. Throw in the small $14.95 price and it is a fabulous bargain to boot. Nice ruby-purple fruit that is not opaque and rather thin legs. But oh, boy, what aromas and flavors. Lovely black olive overtones in the nose, and suave, sleek milk chocolate fruit in the mouth. Structured, but not tannic, in fact very drinkable right now. Long, lovely finish. Not a sharp edge in sight, but very well-balanced. Drink this a little colder than you usually would a cab and you will be rewarded. A real favorite. 4-13-17-9: 93/100.

dark red, in color. orange peel, cocoa, dark fruit, earth, on the nose. blackberry, chocolate, wood, earth, on the palate. medium acid, medium tannins, on the finish.

I found this had a nice fruity nose and smooth, fruity taste. Enjoyable.

I touch on the sour side, and too thin for a cab. Drinkable but not remarkable.
