  Stood up for 3 weeks and decanted off sediment. Now 2h later. Lovely ripe red cherry aromas with hints of sous bois, earth and bark. Palate has just ripe red cherries, forest floor earth, bark, and mild tannins on midpalate. Excellent acids give the wine a nice liveliness. Nice lingering finish. Not the most complex but there's a depth and purity of fruit accented by the other elements that leaves a quite joyful impression. Lovely.

  Nice funky nose. Bright acid mid palate. Stone fruit on the finish. Definitely fine now, but legs to go longer. Yum

  Decanted for 1.5h. Translucent garnet-purple. A-Baking spices, bark, some sous bois, red and black cherries, cranberries. P- Tart red cherries, cranberries, earth, a bit of bark, tannins in mid-palate. Nice weight. F- Nice long elegant finish. A hint of heat at the end. Can probably hold on this for another 5 yrs or more.
