This proved to be a superb wine. Flavor of cherries, with notes of vanilla and cedar. Complex, even with a bit of tannin left. It has aged extremely well, especially considering that we do not have a temperature or humidity controlled wine cellar (although it has been kept in the basement, with temps between 60 and 62). There still appears to be plenty in people's cellars, and it has clearly exceeded the proposed Drink By date of 2009.

This has aged beautifully. Still rich fruit and now the edge is off.

What fun! Slightly smoky, dark fruit, and almost chewy but not heavy. Perfect time to drink this wine. Even better with a good cigar and good cheese.
