Opaque violet color with interesting plum, blackberry, crushed violet, and minty, spice and a hint of espresso aromas. On the palate it's full-bodied, and fresh with a hint of tannins and plum, black currant, black cherry, espresso, and spice flavors. The effervescence adds to its freshness. It shows a lingering slightly (and appealing) bitter finish. I think it needs food. Great pairing with a diverse selection of Thanksgiving dishes. 11.9% abv 83% Syrah, 17% Grenache. Serving at the appropriate temperature (53-55º F) makes a significant difference

I do like this wine. Deep flavors of black fruits, spices, espresso, and dark chocolate enlivened by the bubbles. Fantastic wine. Fun, and still really good with food!

Love this wine! Refreshing summer wine with the oomph needed to go with heavy foods too.
