Took a few hours before I would check the “like” box, but really, I agree with recotte’s comment about having that Howell Mtn profile and quaffability. The smoothness seems to have a natural origin with light oak or intervention, duly expressing sincere vintage and location characteristics. And really nice grapes, too. Did great justice to a thick filet. 5+12+16+8=91

Very distinctive signature of Howell Mountain terroir. Easy drinking on PnP, not sure this has sufficient structure to extend out beyond maybe 3-5 more years. Will check on this again before too long.

Very smooth, silky, dark berries but without any strong acid. Ready to drink now for sure. Hopefully it will develop earth and leather and mushroom in the years ahead. Hope what acid there is stands up for that long. Not so sure. Very pleasant, but like a heavier pinot. Easy drinking.

I love Howell Mtn. This is a great expression of the terroir and a great wine for the vintage. Consumed over two days it improved a little the second day. It was still oh so smooth on the first day. Will drink well for four to five more years at least.

Drank over three days. Good but not like the last bottle. The flavored were muted. May be in a slightly dumb phase.
