  I had this at the winery, as part of a food pairing, so it was excellent there. However, I also purchased several bottles - and I have had it with food, and just for sipping enjoyment - it is still excellent! I go to Napa/Sonoma often, but my sons, and their girlfriends, were with me at the food pairing - they are just learning wines, but this was a favorite. We like what we like, and this one is a favorite!
