Pale straw in color with hints of cloudiness, this wine showed very aromatic notes of herbaceous, musky, grassy and pomelo fruit. The mouth feel showed bright acidity, minerals and gooseberry. The acidity gave the finish lift and freshness.
Purchased for $10US, this wine was a winner and one I'd look for again. This was my first taste of wines from this specific region. I'll keep my eye out for more from this VDP Charentais in the Atlantique departmente, north of Bordeaux.

Taste like a baby Sancerre to me for a very small fraction of the price.
