Pale neutral green, almost limpid. Small bubbles for on the inside of the glass. The nose is really exuberant with over-the-top aromas of white currants, currant leaves, passion fruit, gooseberries, some mango and a hint of pear drops. The wine comes across as quite light-bodied, dry-ish to off-dry and rather linear with fresh but simple flavors of whitecurrants, apples, some grassy greenness, a little bit of mango and a vegetal hint of currant leaves. The acidity feels very racy, and as the wine is pretty light in body, the acidity makes the wine feel quite sharp and aggressive. The finish is dry, quite long and somewhat grassy with flavors of herbal greenness, tart citrus fruits and some candied tropical fruits.
Compared to the previous vintage, which I tasted from a BIB, this was surprisingly decent stuff. Sure, this is very simple and straightforward with very exuberant and obvious new world Sauvignon Blanc aromatics. However, the wine doesn't feel nigh-undrinkable plonk like that BIB did. Not really a wine I'd buy, but better than I expected.

PnP. Light straw yellow. Pleasant aroma of hay guava and jalapeno. Light weight. Pleasant mix of herbal and tropical fruit flavours. Lacks intensity and is astringent on the finish.

Not a bad nose, tropical fruit and grassy notes; soft palate, lacks energy, freshness and length. Quite poor, actually.

Too sharp to drink alone, need to pair with food.
