    Anyway, this is my first experience with Huxelrebe.

    Pours deep gold. Aroma is powerfully peachy and floral, tending towards the musky and "urinary", in a manner that reminds me of some Muscats. First impression in the palate is of powerful, peachy sweetness, which quickly fades to a medicinal, herbal bite that is not unlike some Sauternes I've had. Finishes long and relatively dry, with bracing acidity.

    Very interesting and a nice break from the usual Riesling. Excellent with sushi.
