Oxidative with yeast and spice, apple, citrus and minerals. Didn’t take more notes but did taste clearly as made in an oxidative style (although I’m not sure it is) which was interesting being a sparkling wine.

En av de bästa cavor jag druckit. Utvecklad och mogen smak med toner av mogna, gula päron och äpplen, småkakor och fat. Torrt och lätt men med rondör och bra längd. Till en lax- och räksmörgås med romsås.

Macabeu 100% from Penedès. Bottle number 7786, disgorged 11/2014. Takes a while to open fully. Light tones of sea breeze and cooked sweet corn. Expressive acidity, quite in balance. Quite long. Better then average Prosecco but not as good as average Champagne.

Light straw color, rapid microscopic bubble rising from a center column. Creamy vanilla, butterscotch, brioche full palate feel. Citrus notes. Very nice Cava.
