Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The wine is clear and bright with a pale tawny colour. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium intensity aromas of baked plums, dry cherries, cedar, tobacco, anise and mushrooms. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity, medium slightly coarse tannins, medium+ alcohol, medium body and medium+ intensity flavours of baked plums, dry cherries, tobacco, cedar and mushrooms. The finish is medium+

It is a good quality wine, with a decent flavour concentration and finish. However it could be more complex, and currently is near the end of its life, it has lost most of its fruit aromas and has not developed enough tertiary complexity to compensate it. Drink now, this wine is almost past its best.
