An excellent bottle, and yet a wine that showed how mercurial and fussy Burgundy can be. Two prior bottles were, presumably, much more shut down. Last night this was just excellent. Quite full and fruity for a '12 villages Burg, yet some decent complexity and good length as well. Very surprising. Went quite well with sliced venison tips in a red wine and montmorcy cherry reduction and mushrooms. Unfortunately my last bottle.

The extra time in bottle has done this justice, solid village wine in a nice place.

Doesn't have the intense Burgundy flavours and nose it it is a nice Burgundy. It's not worth $30 ... better wines from California for the money.

Tasted thinner and last pleasant than last time. May be that it was still a bit youthfully fruity last time. Hard to say if it will improve or not.
