  • Get this again, this is what Muscadet should taste like with a bit of bottle age. Clean, direct, almost Chablis-like.

  • Lemon green color. Very typical Muscadet nose - citrus, green apple, salinity, stoney/earthy minerality. That plus a little pepper on the palate. A slight bit of effervescence. This almost seems to have some residual sugar, which I don't think is possible with 36 months sur lie. It is full bodied and almost a bit flabby despite the high acidity. The texture is interesting, but I think I prefer the leaner feel of Muscadets with less sur lie aging. Still a very nice wine, and, like all Muscadets, a bargain.
