  • Unlike many 2011 white burg, this one was not as ready. The nose had wet stones, minerals, sea water, honey and apricots. The palate was very mineral driven (some salty note) but the honey flavor was a pleasant surprise. It took almost 2 hours in the glass to open up a bit. The style is very intense which I enjoyed very much. Still an infant now. It could possibly be 92-93 with age. Will revisit in 3-5 years.
