  This is just ridiculous...in the glass there is hardly any indication that this is 12 years old...and the structure of this wine requires a good 90-120 minutes in a decanter to open up. The nose gives off scents of earth, black fruits, funk, cedar,and charred meats on a grill . In the mouth there is good tannin, supported by bright acidity and flavors of sour cherry, cranberries, and black berries. If...I had another bottle of this, I would wait to see how it is doing in 2010. However, it is outstanding right now...and something special.
