Dark brown in color, a bit oxidized, but with pleasant fig and botrytis notes. Good acid balance. Reminded me a bit of a Madeira, with a complex nose. You can tell they made this one out of raisins.

A weekend of Jacky Truchot; 1/28/2006-1/29/2006 (Washington DC): Brown, leading to amber colour. A bit of caramel sweetness and crisp fruit - caramel Granny Smith. Short finish, but not sticky or cloying. Not a great wine, but a most enjoyable small glass dessert.

Dessert Wine Extravaganza: Questionable provenance, it was one of the darkest wines of the tasting. Pleasant, but somewhat cloying.
