First had this 1-2 years ago. It was hot tasting. Probably should have let it breathe for a while. It was just okay.
Opened another bottle last night that I had accessed via Coravin in February 2017. Not nearly so extracted or hot as the last bottle — maybe from a combination of a bit more time in bottle and possibly some slight oxidation from the prior Coravin. Now drank nicely. Deep red, but not the port-like color or taste that other CTers have described. Balanced, some complexity. A nice wine.

on the nose, raisins, port-like, palate, figs, dried fruits, balanced with acidity, but would have liked just a bit more, not quite to my taste but an interesting wine to experience

A positive surprise! Better than many of the other $30-40 i have from Garagiste (all are decent value, but not all suit my taste).
The color reminds me of a wine that has come of age, almost a little bit like a port. But just a little.
The nose is changing as the wine gets air. Definitely, this wine appears to benefit from oxygen. At the beginning, the nose had something i did not like, almost musty. As time goes by, the must disappears and I smell raisins.
The fruit is still very much present in this wine. Not a lot of tannins, but a fair amount of alcohol. The wine is a bit sweet. Normally i prefer silky drier wines but this is agreeable.
A perfect wine for the holidays.

After it warmed up it still was alive. Probably better in the past.
