Citrus, stone fruit and some melon. Lots of vanilla and spice from the oak. Not a completely over-the-top fruit and buttered popcorn bomb but still a pretty heavy handed California Chardonnay.

Had this at the winemakers retirement reception. Somewhere between a Chablis and a fully oaked barrel fermented Napa Chardonnay it really needed more bottle age to develop and it was too cold. Any way it was quite nice, tart and fresh with integrated oak and very approachable citrus flavors.

Surprised this was from California - very refined full-bodied Chardonnay with just the right amount of oak to round it out.

Richard Jennings has a pretty good description of it. Would add medium(-) on the acid level.
