  PNP into 薄はり葡萄酒器 (“Fruit” day): Pale garnet with fine deposits.
  
  Cherry cola and darker red fruits in general, earthy and herbal spices. Egg-white reduction notes upfront that does not bother.
  
  Clear petillance that makes this extra fresh, bright acidity, good minerality, silky tannins, some spices towards the finish.
  
  Very pleasant and enjoyable indeed. 92-93 points.
  
  4 hours upon opening, 1/2 left: More detailed, ripe black plummy fruits with skin at this stage. Very nice addition to the fruit spectrum.
  
  1 full day since opening ("Root" day), with nightly rest in fridge without recorking, 1/3 left: Great deal of nice red cherry fruits, earth and herbal spices. This is very much intact, with tannin texture being smoothed. Some hints of oxidation on nose and palate but does not bother.

  A previous bottle was off (this is bottled without SO2 addition, so it can be unstable), but this one provides some serious fun. Nothing fancy about this wine just masses of bright red fruit: berries and cherries and a int of black fruit (cassis). Very supple and showing only the lightest of tannins. Perfect to drink young, and perhaps slightly cooled on a warm day, as we did.
