An unusual mix from Lodi -- barbera/petit sirah/petit verdot/and (gasp) teroldego. Don't ask me what that last one is cause I've never heard of it before. They say it's from northern Italy. High toned strawberry and cream nose, which is quite interesting and unusual. Or maybe it's raspberry. Same carries onto the palate with a mix of red fruits, minor hints of green, and a little heat from alcohol. An intersting wine, if not to die for.
