Opened about three hours before drinking to give it some air (slow-ox for three hours). In the glass, medium viscosity with a pale straw color. On the nose, initially, this was quite closed and took quite a while to open up. Once it did, I got some peaches/stone fruit, some honey, some flintiness, a touch of oxidation (probably normal at this point - this was kept in perfect storage since release) but in a good way, and some almond powder. On the palate, the wine initially felt a tad hot, high acidity, lots of honey (not sweetness just honey taste), flintiness, chalkiness, stone fruits, passion fruit, and some ripe red apples. There's a "sea-spray" or saltiness to this wine. Overall, very good and evolved chardonnay that has evolved very nicely compared to the last time I had this. I would drink up this feels like a peak.
Additional note: there is a bit of a grassiness to this wine that sometimes brings me in a Sauvignon Blanc direction. Letting the wine warm up a bit and letting it breathe, that grassiness goes away.

Light oak, notes of passion fruit and honey, quite nice overall.

(Old notes - tasting date not correct) Deep fresh fruit; Nice acid; Solid finish; Beautiful, almost tropical, but with richness
