A week in Tuscany (and Lots of wines); 10/19/2015-10/21/2015 (Tuscany, Italy): Purple in color. The nose is plums and celery. An odd but not completely off aroma in this wine. There is a nice complexity at this point. I doubt it gets better or makes old bones, but it is an enjoyable quaff. Nicely balanced but it works better with food. Medium tannins. Not great but nice.
