  decidedly raspberry aromas. rather fruit up front expression to the aromas. still has a very punchy acid balance, that makes me dive in for another sip. doesn't really flash any oak on the nose. the palate has just a modest string of oak, to wrap around the components. I'd come back and have more of this.
