the purple highlights on the ruby color are quite apparent coming after the Bouchard Aine '12 Bourgogne Rouge. decidedly raspberry aromas. rather fruit up front expression to the aromas. still has a very punchy acid balance, that makes me dive in for another sip. doesn't really flash any oak on the nose. the palate has just a modest string of oak, to wrap around the components. I'd come back and have more of this.
